2020-07-16 UI update vs. sideloaded Android apps?

Post by gregm »

Hello everyone!

I've been enjoying sideloaded Android apps on my Karoo, and am curious to learn whether or not today's big UI update breaks anything in a big way regarding Android app use.

Have any of you tried yet?

Thanks!!

I updated the UI and haven't notice any differences.
Shortcuts to sideloaded app are on the home screen, just after build in applications (the same way as before the update). They are launching in the same way. Short pressing lower-right button works as Escape, long pressing exists to home screen. I cannot spot any differences.
