Last Weekend Ride

Post by nordog » Thu Apr 12, 2018 1:11 pm

Eight of us way over 50's did a three day ride, from Bircher, near Ludlow to Chepstow via Hereford and Abergavenny. Mostly on flooded roads and with very heave rain on the last day, my Karoo was perfect, except on the section from Hereford to Abergavenny, when I shoved the Karoo into my pocket, I thought it was dead but it was not it recorded the whole ride, trouble is I have mislaid it the file some were or deleted it some how. Gutted.
Adding up the daily rides it was over 97 miles with some very steep hills, one at two miles long at 17% at one point, even my cycle buddy stopped riding and I caught him up by walking.

was perfect, except
These words don't go together. We could use "very good, except" or "performed well, except". Perfect doesn't leave room for "except".

Sorry, but this is really bugging me about "reviews" and "stories" both here and on Facebook about the Karoo.

"It was flawless, except for the 12 things I'm going to list..."

I'm happier with my Karoo with almost every SW update, but it's far from "perfect".

What is perfect for me could well be under par for you, sorry about that, most faults wit Karoo is done by my human errors.
