Lost a ride again

Post by bikebikebike »

I think I'll write another poem about this thing I bought.
I'll try to keep it positive, I really think I ought
To keep my face a smiling, To cast a rosy glow,
To help assist the other folks with all the things I know.
To not cry or whine , dismaying, when things all fall apart,
To keep a chipper attitude, to steel the saddened heart.
But, alas, when I look down upon something that should've acted
And find a ride I set upon, has once again become redacted,
I really don't think I should grumble, grouse about or moan
So I think about the things I'd like say when I get home.
Perhaps bolstering my spirit with some graceful platitude
Or something that just might improve my failing attitude.
And not let fly some trolling, or some heart chilling canard.
For some that may come easy, but for me that's awful hard.
Or some poignant criticism or some demon's hateful curse.
I wanted simple mild reflection of an ordered universe.
Well, I think, it's that's not the thing to have by my side on that path.
For the only way it does that, is for me to have a laugh
When it pokes me in the eye, when I think it should simply work
And leaves me standing, staring, feeling something of a jerk.
I want a friend upon the roadways and I don't trust this a whit
I'll spend more time with my astrolabe and less time with this bit.

Re: Lost a ride again, again. Should have known better

My sensors bugged out once again.
I do not know to whence.
The batteries were fresh , I know.
And they had much to sense.
I tried avoiding Auto-Pause,
I started a new ride,
but when I looked for data
It had found a place to hide.
The power meter stayed around
and distance was on board,
And ANT and Bluetooth were awake
and didn't look untoward.
The day is fall, the weather's mild
the roads are smooth and nice.
At least I can still make it home,
and that is worth the price.

Censure over censored sensors

Post by bikebikebike »

Seem to have found that it resolved with sensor battery check , and sensor precedence restructuring.
I had a weak battery on an ANT cadence sensor and new battery was not prechecked and found to be low
The bad sensor had precedence and "blocked" down stream sensors
all in a dazed work
