Re: Dissapointed about last release

I not sure of your trail riding but here if you're on a proper single track trail then no device is needed as they are not like roads with many junctions, all I think you need in this case is your Karoo to record your rides unless you are on a wild open moorland or a very large forest type ride. I w...

Re: Sold Out?

I agree with dthempel, I for one have had more good times with my Karoo than bad times, they seem to be a great bunch of chaps. As an old git they have been more than helpful with the problems that I have had, knowing what I know now I think I would go and buy the next unit if they have the new Karoo.

Re: Navigation banner alway On

I find my two GoPro's have the same problems, you set the dates and other settings to how you want them two days later they change settings and lose the date my Karoo does similar stunts like switch off the GPs signal or the sensors etc, I would have thought that these settings would change until I ...

No GPS Signal

Took the bike out to do some short errands but there was no GPS signal at all, never had that before is it just me & my Karoo or has everyone else lost the signal now. Have the satellites got sick?

Re: Sold Out?

Even the giant Google is having troubles with their new Google Nest Aware app with the date of new release being early 2020 customers like me are not happy.
I for one hope that HH will announce the new improved Karoo soon.

Re: Suggestions for Bluetooth speakers/headphones

Been using myTREKZ Titanium bone phones for over a year now, they are paired to my Karoo but I forgot to test them with on the last ride, tomorrow I hope. They work very well and my ears don't itch so much plus I can hear others talking & the road noise.

Re: Garmin Varia Radar Support

I some times wish it could pick up other cyclists as well as other traffic, the few times that I'm slow enough for other riders to catch up, it would nice to know they are closing to me before I stop or turn off to the right etc. You should be hand-signaling your intentions even if you don't think ...

I don't like to ride my eBike without the radar now, I find it very useful and works well, not perfect.

Every person using any smart gadget will want more than it can do, that is why we all buy another gadget in the hope that it is better than the last gadget. The grass is always greener the other side they say. ;)

If no joy, ask Hammerhead in a nice friendly way if you could send it back to them for a test bed for problem-solving. you never know they might find the problem and help the rest of us to.

Re: Karoo on the naughty step

It's cold here in Wiltshire too but my Karoo has not had a problem like that, only the mileage is crap, I walk around Stalag Longleat about 4 miles and it tells me I only walked 0.7 miles in 21:26. They are looking into that problem now.
