Re: Sideloading Strava

It may no longer be possible to do so on v1 of the hardware (at least on current versions of Strava), may work for older versions of Strava or on v2 hardware.

If you have v1 you could ask hammerhead support if they will be upgrading Android on the v1.

Editing a Route Screws it up Big Time - Follow Activity EXACTLY

I want to follow the ride I did exactly (no matter where I rode, minus any mistakes I fix up). How can I do that? I view an activity Choose "Edit Route" What I see is an accurate representation of where I rode (at least as far as I noticed) I try to make a tiny aleration on one part of th...

Re: and then

Hard to see much with the low-quality picture but I recently found my device wobbled a bit when on the mount. I took it off and had to tighten the screw on the back.

Re: I Can Make No Sense of the Profile Menu

Don't know about other issues but I also can't get more than 8 items (I also had 10) and that is really annoying!

That is the harder way, as Hammerhead don't provide any quick way of going to the home location.

Its been a while since I did it but you should be prompted on the device, did you accept? If adding and removing cable doesn't bring it back try disabling it on the device and reenabling

Contact support, It's been a few months and that worked for me, maybe this is a different issue. Maybe a factory reset?

Re: Backup data from Karoo

I did yesterday a factory reset because my Karoo was very slow (switching screens, showing data fields). Like Steve say, just add again your HH account. Your data screens should be restored, also all your personal settings (age, weight, zones, etc ...) are restored. Here is what you need to do manu...

Re: Updating Side loaded apps with APK Pure

From a comment posted elsewhere: ... (2) Uses Android 6, which means more and more 3rd party apps are now incompatible and this list is growing day by day as authors update their apps to the latest API levels or use “XAPK” format files. (3) 3rd party apps can’t display standard Android Notifications...

OBSOLETE STICKY POSTS - Popular Karoo Feature Requests

The stickies haven't been updated in a very long time so it's hard to say how much of them is accurate, almost everything in "Popular Karoo Feature Requests" is obsolete and the linked pages don't exist.

These stickies should be maintained, unstuck or deleted.

My 2 cents worth.

Re: Routing issues

I got a reply from HH. No, it doesn't work... However, if you wish to do navigation by creating a route on the Karoo (offline route creation) or search by address then it's not added right now as we are working on it currently. It depends on whether by "create a route' you mean you want to nav...

Re: Routing issues

I don't have connectivity at all so my so far limited experience says everything's fine except I'm unsure what " can you create a new route mid-ride to go to a specified address if you have neither wifi nor cellular connectivity? " means, is that as a waypoint or a new destination. You can...
