Re: Using Karoo 2 for indoor training ONLY with power meter
You might need to add a cheap wheel speed sensor or something. Strava may reject the "ride" because it's 0 miles? What does the Karoo/HH dashboard show? Have you tried downloading the FIT file and putting it into another service (TrainingPeaks, Golden Cheetah (an app not a service), etc.) ...

Re: Karoo 2 - no fit files directory
Your photo isn't shared properly ... or at least I can't see it. You should be able to download the FIT file from the HH dashboard and upload it where you want. But you should be able to see it. For me, the folder path is this and the Karoo shows up under the "Devices and drives" section. ...

Re: K2 usable without using Hammerhead ecosystem?
It's been a while, but I think the answer should be yes to all of those. If you disconnect your Strava and TP accounts, there would be nothing to "sync" even if the file does get uploaded to the HH dashboard. Pretty sure you won't be able to do anything with "Routes" or "Cou...

Re: Karoo 2 will not resume sensor connections after pause.
Had the opposite experience this past week and had expected the worst. Rode to my mom's house about 25 miles away. Stopped for a long chat, something to eat, etc. Was probably off-bike for over an hour. Hopped back on to do the 25 back home and everything picked up immediately. Don't know why the sa...

Re: K2 Consistently High Mileage?
Thanks. It does look like it was the speed sensor or at least the K2's implementation of auto-wheel-circumference. This seems like an "easy" thing to figure out for a modern head unit. Use GPS distance briefly (a few thousand feet? less?) to calibrate. I've simply turned it off and removed...

K2 Consistently High Mileage?
Anyone doing group rides again and noticing "high" numbers for mileage? Rode with one others for the first time in almost a year this past two weekends and was seeing slightly higher numbers. Over nealy 50 miles, I was almost 2 miles over. I thought it was my partner's Wahoo as he had just...

I believe "Lap Avg Power" is normalized power? I don't know if they've changed the field name, but thought I had a profile that showed this?
Pretty sure you can discard a ride without saving/uploading.

Re: Automatic uploads not working after update
There might have been an outage? I had a problem with a ride on Saturday (US time) not uploading to Strava, but did upload to Training Peaks. Every company has issues occasionally and outages. HH seems no better or worse than others. You realize Garmin was hacked not long ago and paid ransom (US $10...

Re: Adding Sensors
If the sensor you're trying to add has BT/LE or ANT+, the Karoo should see it? What sensor are we talking about. Has someone at HH told you the sensor in question isn't and won't be supported?

Re: White line
The behavior also seems random. I went out on Tuesday (?) -- what year is it? -- and the white line wasn't there at all. I don't know if maybe I got a phone pop-up on that ride that *did* have the line and nothing on Tuesday or if something else happened. Does this happen on the Karoo 1 as well? Ask...

Re: White line
Folks read the patch / update notes, right? :) I can't say I like it when there is no notification, course, lap or other info, but it's apparently there on purpose. Seems like nothing should show there until one of the above events happens, but I'm not sure if HH has re-instituted the ATG program an...

Re: Any current discount codes for the Karoo 2?
If you've sold an existing head unit and re-couped some costs after using it, that's pretty much your "discount". It's what I and a lot of others have done. Sold (preferably) or returned (usually less $) our existing Karoo 1 (or other) units to help fund. There are not too many bike bits w...

Re: Question for users: start button
Sorry to be "silly", but the "start button" function is really your biggest differentiator for purchase? The buttons on the Karoo are just "OK". I think they're worse than on the Karoo 1. They are less tactile, more fiddly to use with gloves, and prone to incorrect pres...

Pretty sure there's nothing stopping you from having two Hammerhead accounts? You'd have to log in/out all the time which may become a pain depending on the sophistication of your passwords.

FYI: This isn't a "supported" forum. It's just users helping users. This seems like something you'd want to bring to HH's attention via the official forums and/or a support ticket directly. Welcome to the group, but know that HH doesn't patrol here and you'll likely get a more direct answe...

Re: 3D Printed "Bits"...?
I don't know the properties of PETG at all, but what you've got looks pretty good. If you've already up'd your "infill" percent, it seems like it would work? Might add some more beef around the screw holes, but again, I don't know PETG and how it compares to PLA or other options on these p...

Re: 3D Printed "Bits"...?
Like I said, either here or in the HH forums, I'm OK using this for now for an old light that doesn't hold a charge great and isn't a tragedy to replace. I'm not sure I'd trust it with a $300 GoPro. I'm seeing a $20 K-Edge GoPro thing on both the forums and on Amazon. I believe their stuff is machin...
